Estonia – Olympic appoints US gaming executive as new CEO

Baltic casino group Olympic Entertainment has appointed Corey Plummer to the Management Board as Chief Executive Officer effective immediately, replacing Madis Jääger who will step down from the Management Board and from his position of CEO and become a senior advisor to OEG.

As part of this reorganisation, Mr Plummer will resign from OEG’s Supervisory Board. Mr Plummer has more than 20 years of international gaming experience, including as Founder and President of North Sea Gaming, a sector-focused independent advisory firm, and as a senior executive at Holland Casino, Caesars Entertainment Group, Rush Street Gaming and Aristocrat Technologies.

Mr. Plummer, who is a graduate of Michigan State University and holds an MBA from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business, began his career in the gaming industry with Harrah’s Entertainment. He also served as Vice President of Gaming at River Casino in Pittsburgh and Vice President of slots at Red Hawk Casino in Shingle Springs, California. He has broad management experience having worked for Aristocrat Technologies, opened Native American properties and managed gaming and casino marketing domestically and internationally. He also held executive positions with SkyCity Casinos in Australia and New Zealand.

In addition, the Supervisory Board has appointed Omer Efraim to the Management Board as Chief Technology Officer. Mr Efraim has more than 15 years of software development experience much of which in gaming technologies. Previous roles include CTO of Skywind Group, an online games content and services provider, and running the casino live games division at Playtech, one of the world’s largest online gaming software providers.

Management Board member and COO, Meelis Pielberg’s role will expand to include direct oversight of local country operations and business development.

All three Management Board members will be based at OEG’s headquarters in Tallinn.
