Estonia- Olympics’ OlyBet goes live on MPN

By - 7 August 2013

OlyBet, previously Olympic-Online, has gone live on the MPN following an extensive rebrand.

OlyBet has also gone live with Microgaming’s industry-leading casino games, through an agreement with Quickfire, powered by Microgaming.

OlyBet is the new online gaming environment for Olympic Entertainment Group (OEG), one of the largest casino entertainment providers in its region, operating in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Belarus and Italy. OlyBet launched 1st August 2013 in replacement of Olympic-Online; the rebrand forms part of a strategic move for OEG to expand its operations across Europe.

In conjunction with this launch, OlyBet changed its poker provider to Microgaming, and is now residing on the MPN. The poker room’s launch on the MPN is well-timed; their players will immediately benefit from Blaze Cash Drop, a promotion which is giving over €20,000 to Blaze players. Running in the first week of August, €10 in cash is randomly being awarded every five minutes to a Blaze poker player. In addition, OlyBet players can also take advantage of the soon-to-be-launched Blazing Cannon.

“We are delighted that the Olympic Entertainment Group has chosen Microgaming as its sole poker provider,” says Lydia Melton, Head of Network Games at Microgaming. “The newly rebranded OlyBet will find a welcome home on the MPN.”

OlyBet has also signed an agreement with Quickfire, powered by Microgaming, and now has access to over 400 powerful game titles including playerfavourites Thunderstruck II and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider.

“We have chosen to launch OlyBet as an open platform, in order to partner with a variety of different gaming providers to entertain our clients. Microgaming is a well-known software provider, particularly in the markets that we operate in, and therefore was an obvious choice to partner with,” Kaido Ulejev, Head of OlyBet, commentsed.“We were impressed with the MPN’s progressive nature and its continual investment to develop its poker offering. Similarly, the reputation that Quickfire has built in delivering market-leading gaming content through a seamless integration process made the decision to go live with Quickfire a simple one.”
