Portugal Legends, including Luis Figo, Ricardo Quaresma and Deco, are set to face the likes of Kaká, Cafu, Carles Puyol and other World Legends in what promises to be a historic Legends Charity Game. The match is going to take place on Monday, September 15th, in Lisbon’s Estádio José Alvalade, home ground of reigning Portuguese champions Sporting CP.

The Legends Charity Game is expected to be played in front of 50,000 fans with the goal of raising €1,000,000, to be distributed across four charities: Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa; Caritas Portugal; The Ukrainian Red Cross Society; and International Alert. The organisations will use the funds to provide invaluable aid to communities and families experiencing extreme hardship.

Betano, Kaizen Gaming’s leading online sports betting and gaming brand, has contributed significantly towards the realisation of this goal by becoming the Supporting Charity Partner of the Legends Charity Game. Betano’s support is part of its commitment to creating positive social impact by leveraging the power of sport. In Portugal, particularly Betano has been renowned for its social footprint, via initiatives such as the Heróis Betano social responsibility program or its contribution to the creation of the INZONE sensory room in FC Porto’s Dragão Stadium.

Panos Konstantopoulos, Kaizen Gaming Corporate Affairs Senior Director, commented: “The Legends Charity Game is more than just football. It’s a celebration of the game’s icons coming together for a greater cause. Through this partnership, we’re harnessing the power of sport to unite communities and create real impact where it is needed most. We are proud to support such a unique event and remain firm in our belief that sport and positive change go hand in hand.”

The game will also be broadcast on television and online across Europe with Champions League-level coverage, with multiple camera angles, spider cams, and a full stadium setup.

Rasmus Sojmark, CEO and Founder of SBC & Sport Global, added: “The Legends Charity Game will grab attention with the number of greats on the pitch. When that spotlight can be used to raise awareness, funding, and momentum for causes that truly matter, it becomes an opportunity to do something that goes beyond the pitch. That’s the spirit behind the Legends Charity Game. We are delighted that a brand like Kaizen Gaming’s Betano will be a Supporting Charity Partner of Legends Charity Game and look forward to creating a genuine impact on September 15.”
