Germany – Clarion embrace Berlin homeless charity ahead of EiG and BAC

The compassionate side of the international gaming industry will be very much in evidence next week with both EiG and Berlin Affiliate Conference supporting local homeless charity Berliner Stadtmisssion.

Delegates attending the Clarion Gaming organised events are being requested to donate warm clothing to help street sleepers in the city protect against winter temperatures which can fall as low as -10°C (14°F).

Kate Chambers, Managing Director of Clarion Gaming explained: “Berliner Stadtmission takes care of homeless people in Berlin. With winter approaching, and the fact that the majority of homeless people are male, we are asking delegates to donate warm men´s clothes, such as coats, jackets, socks, shoes, trousers/ jeans, scarves, hats, but also sanitary items are needed. The international gaming industry has a proud track record of supporting individuals who are less fortunate and find themselves in challenging circumstances and we encourage all of our exhibitors and delegates to donate what they can to this deserving local cause based in our host city.”

The collection point at EiG will be in the registration area. The collection point for BAC will be on stand E22. This will be branded Clarion Gaming with a message to encourage to donate.

BAC takes place at the Messe Berlin from November 1 to 4and is expected to attract in excess of 3,250 delegates, making it the biggest in its history. To register, visit:
