ICE – Konami gets its SeleXion

By - 21 January 2014

Konami Gaming will introduce an expanded catalogue of new games and systems at ICE including the multigame, SeleXion, the cabinet, Podium Goliath and the new linked progressive Dragon’s Victory.

Eduardo Aching, Vice President of International Sales at Konami, said: “Konami and its distributors are elated to display the newly released multigame, SeleXion, the emerging hit cabinet, Podium Goliath and the new linked progressive Dragon’s Victory at ICE.  Our European customers and their players will experience how Konami products are Born from Fun and can drive performance to the gaming floor. All of this and more, including new Synkros systems technology will be on display. The highlight of the newly designed Konami booth will be SeleXion, which features a digital dynamic button panel that changes instantaneously with the selection of each game. The SeleXion platform is multi-lingual, multi-denominational and unlike the competitors’ products, it allows the player to switch between up to ten games instantly.”

The next generation of linked progressive games from Konami is Dragon’s Victory™, which features a multi-stage bonus event with four jackpot levels.  Dragon’s Victory leverages Konami’s latest operating system, KP3, and a robust set of game themes that are launching in Europe at ICE.

Konami will also display a new Synkros tournament product.

“Last year, we demonstrated how Synkros gives casino operators the ability to grant player-on-demand True-Time Tournaments through our proprietary True-Time Windowing technology,” explained Mr. Aching.  “This year, we will demonstrate the new SynkStart tournaments for operators who also like to run group start tournaments for their guests. Either way, Synkros gives operators the flexibility and power of the system-delivered bonusing tournaments to drive desired player behaviours, including property visits, incremental play and new player enrolment.”

With an expanded library of proven performer games, the Podium Goliath will be on display by Konami. The Podium Goliath provides operators the flexibility to provide Konami’s KP3 and K2V video game titles in an oversized cabinet designed to attract attention and deliver gaming entertainment.

“We have experienced great success in driving performance premiums with Goliath in other markets,” explained Mr. Aching. “The cabinet is designed for maximum flexibility with respect to available game themes, and we have proven that players enjoy playing on this larger format box.”
