ICE – Merkur promises a quantum leap forward

By - 23 January 2014

Merkur Gaming  will be displaying new gaming cabinets, new games, a completely new gaming management system, complete SBG, VLT and jackpot solutions at the forthcoming ICE.

The event will mark a quantum leap in cabinet design with The Avantgarde gaming cabinet adding even more variety to the company’s portfolio. The Avantgarde is fresh, young and inspiring with new 3D games already integrated into it. Privilege, Evolution and Highflyer are just some more of cabinet names that attract players around the world. In particular, the Highflyer brings something truly unique to the market with its upper monitor seemingly floating in the air – providing players with a clear view of the gaming floor, previously unheard of for slant top cabinets.

The quantum leap in innovations will be mirrored by the new management system – MERKUR ALL-IN-ONE. Visitors will soon understand why Merkur Gaming says this is ‘much more than just a floor management system’. It is the perfect way to unite slot management, casino / arcade management and business management under one roof. Whether player, device, service, game or system management – the brand new MERKUR ALL-IN-ONE does it all.

Naturally visitors can expect to see successful applications on display for the ever-growing server-based gaming (SBG) and video lottery terminal (VLT) segments. The choice of cabinets and games here makes Merkur Gaming stand out as the preferred partner. With even more cabinets and games now to choose from, Merkur Gaming is rightly set to play an ever greater role here. Adding the multi-faceted jackpots – such as wide-area and mystery – Merkur Gaming is in the driving seat for optimal SBG and VLT solutions.

The ‘made in Germany’ technology alongside local R&D departments throughout the world ensure that Merkur Gaming tailors its products correctly to individual customer needs. Local heroes as themes for games, such as Cantinflas in Latin America, win over player hearts. The technology, quality and service make the choice for Merkur Gaming that so much stronger.

The Merkur Dispenser 100 – the market choice for banknote recycling – will proudly be on display as well. Today well over 120,000 such units have been produced – a true testimony to its success.

Merkur Gaming – the international gaming subsidiary of Germany’s Gauselmann Group – will be joined by two further sister-companies, namely GeWeTe and Blueprint Gaming. GeWeTe is the most successful manufacturer of change machines in Germany with considerable international success. Blueprint Gaming is one of the most successful multi-platform developers of digital games with locations in Great Britain, USA and the Philippines.

“The quantum leap in innovations is surely set to astonish the gaming world”, confidently predicts Thomas Niehenke, COO of the Gauselmann Group. “There are so many reasons to come and stay on our stand. We are very much looking forward to the forthcoming ICE.”
