Monarch GGR up 12.1 per cent in second quarter
Monarch Casino, operator of casinos in Blackhawk and Reno, generated net revenue of $136.9m compared to $128.1m in the second quarter with casino revenue up 12.1 per cent.
John Farahi, Chief Executive Officer, said: “Monarch delivered record second quarter financial results. Net revenue increased 6.8 per cent year-over-year to $136.9m, driven by strong casino revenues, which rose 12.1 per cent over the same period a year-ago. Our focus on technology and operational efficiencies drove an operating margin increase of approximately 320 basis points over the prior year period to a second quarter Adjusted EBITDA margin of 37.5 per cent. Adjusted EBITDA increased 16.8 per cent year-over year to $51.3m.
