Romania – IGT secures Class II licenses for Romania

By - 26 August 2016

International Game Technology has obtained two Romanian Class II licenses, for platform management and software provision, by the National Gaming Office in Romania and it will now utilise the power of its remote game server (rgs) to serve customers in Romania.

Romania passed new gaming regulation last year, opening up the market to regulation-compliant operators and providers.

Gianluca Ballocci, IGT Vice President Commercial Interactive Sales and B2C Operations, said: “The granting of these licenses in Romania further enhances the IGT group’s presence in key regulated markets, and extends our support for our customers’ growth strategy. We look forward to delivering the industry’s most robust game portfolio and well-known IGT game content to operators and players throughout Romania.”
