Sachsenlotto launches new partnership with IGT and presents innovative scratch card
With a strong new partner at its side, the Saxony state lottery Sachsenlotto has partnered with IGT (International Game Technology), to develop a new scratch card AUSZEIT, a product that sets new standards in design, game ideas and target group appeal.
The 10 euro scratch card AUSZEIT offers an extraordinary main prize: 100,000 euros immediately plus an additional 10,000 euros for twelve months – a total of 220,000 euros. The odds of winning the top prize are 1:390,000.
AUSZEIT is the first product to be created as part of the new partnership between Sachsenlotto and IGT. IGT is one of the world’s leading companies in the field of lottery technology and game development, operates the central lottery system of Sächsische Lotto-GmbH and already supports lotteries in over 100 countries. In the field of instant lotteries, IGT sets new international standards with state-of-the-art printing technology, digital design processes and sustainable production standards.
“With IGT, we have gained a strong partner who brings decades of experience, innovative strength and technological excellence,” explained Frank Schwarz, Managing Director of Sächsische Lotto-GmbH. “The development of AUSZEIT was the first joint step – more are to follow.”
Scratch cards have been one of the fastest-growing products in Sachsenlotto’s portfolio for years: In 2024 alone, 37.4 million euros in gaming stakes were achieved with them – a revenue share of 10.9 per cent. The aim is to further expand this segment, open up new target groups and implement modern game ideas.
“Our customers are not only looking for opportunities to win, but also for emotional experiences. With the new AUSZEIT lot, we are taking up exactly this wish – and at the same time focusing on the highest level of design and technical quality,” Mr. Schwarz continued.
The partnership with IGT creates new leeway: Thanks to the digital Infinity Instants technology, creative lottery concepts can be implemented that break previous boundaries. Colours, motifs and playing fields can be designed flexibly and in a high-quality way – even under the scratch surface. At the same time, it increases delivery reliability, scalability and flexibility in product development.
Mr. Schwarz added: “With IGT as an international innovation partner, we are securing long-term access to state-of-the-art technologies and game ideas. In this way, we are strengthening our role as a future-oriented lottery provider – in Saxony and for Saxony.”
