UK – Coral to be Norwich FC’s betting partner and Barclay Stand sponsor

Norwich City has announced a historic and substantial deal confirming leading bookmakers Coral as the Club’s official betting partner and new sponsors of the Barclay Stand at Carrow Road.

Since Carrow Road was built in 1935, the Barclay Stand has been the spiritual home of some of the Club’s noisiest and most passionate supporters over the decades.

Now Coral is celebrating the stand’s unique heritage with an exciting multi-year partnership which will see thousands of Barclay Stand season ticket holders benefit from specific offers and all fans and members receive special benefits from Coral, including sign up incentives and new customer deals, exclusive NCFC Promotional odds every matchday, new in-stadia betting points throughout the ground and sponsored away days to benefit supporters.

In addition as part of the deal, all NCFC sign ups through www.coral.co.uk/otbc will financially benefit your football club and help Manager Alex Neil build and maintain the Canaries’ squad.

This is the first time the Barclay Stand has ever been sponsored, with eye-catching Coral branding also set to feature on both the front and the back of the stand by the end of August.

The Barclay stand will retain its historic name but will be labelled as the Barclay Stand sponsored by Coral.

Inside the stand Coral will continue the theme of celebrating the Barclay’s special place in the Club’s heritage with nostalgic displays in the concourses reflecting on some of the great Norwich City memories and dramas which have panned out on the pitch in front of the stand over the years
City Chief Executive David McNally said the Club was delighted to be teaming up with Coral on this historic and innovative partnership.

He commented: “This is a major partnership for the Club as we re-enter the Premier League stage. We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Coral on board as our official betting partner and the first-ever sponsors of the Barclay Stand.

“It’s a stand close to the hearts of Norwich fans everywhere, so it was vitally important to us to find a partner who would honour and celebrate the heritage of the Barclay with us in such a positive way, while also offering some exciting benefits for the 6,000-plus loyal members of the Yellow Army who sit there on a match day and of course all our other fans. We encourage all those fans that want to place a bet to do so through the Norwich City Coral website as this benefits the club and, like everything we do, helps us to support our Manager and the squad.”

The partnership was negotiated by sports marketing agency BD Sport Rights, who specialise in building creative, content led partnerships between market leading betting brands and rights owners. The stadium betting service will be operated by BD Stadia, the market leaders in betting fan engagement. Both companies are part of BD Sport Group.
