Apache Casino Hotel in Lawton, Oklahoma, has selected the Lodging Management System (LMS) property management solution and the InfoGenesis POS system, both from Agilysys, to streamline operations at its casino and new 132-room hotel. Apache Casino Hotel is owned and managed by the Fort Sill Apache Tribe of Oklahoma.
Thomas Ward, director of information technology at Apache Casino Hotel, said: “When selecting technology for our newly expanded property, we knew we needed systems that could handle both hotel and casino operations. The LMS and InfoGenesis POS solutions are proven, scalable and easy to integrate with other applications we are using. Apart from the technology itself, however, we liked the partnership approach Agilysys took. From sales to support, Agilysys has given us a high level of personal attention. With this technology in place, we are well-positioned for the future and are excited about the opportunities it gives us to build our business and deliver exceptional guest service.”
LMS is a comprehensive property management solution that leverages web services to deliver maximum flexibility and ease of use. It automates every aspect of hotel operations — from reservations and credit card processing to accounting and housekeeping. Its versatile foundation easily expands to incorporate modules for activities scheduling, attraction ticketing, food and beverage sales, online reservations, remote check in, spa scheduling and more. LMS also interfaces guest player accounts to the hotel booking engine for evaluating comp decisions.
The latest version of LMS features a number of enhancements, such as new folio transfer options, additional guest search options, passport scanning capability, new reporting features and the ability to view InfoGenesis POS checks posted to LMS via the InfoGenesis XML interface. The new version also includes several guest-oriented enhancements within the LMS ResNet online booking module, including suggestive selling functionality, multiple room booking capabilities, web check-in improvements and additional special request functionality.
InfoGenesis POS is an award-winning point-of-sale software solution that combines powerful reporting and configuration capabilities in the back office with a fast, intuitive and easy-to-use terminal application. The flexible system is easy to set up, and its scalable architecture enables customers to add workstations without having to build out expensive infrastructure. It also integrates easily with other applications, such as gift card and guest management solutions. The system’s detailed and high-quality reporting capabilities give insight into sales data and guest purchasing trends. Other features include packages and prix fixe menus, signature capture and multi-language capability. InfoGenesis POS is available as an on-premise solution or through a subscription service.
