US – Hard Rock Albuquerque Resorts back to Isleta

By - 27 June 2013

The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Albuquerque will be returning to its roots next month and changing its name back to Isleta Resort and Casino. During the next few weeks, the changes will include enhancements to the gaming floor, new slot machine technology with more ways for guests to play and win, a modernized logo design to better reflect the casino’s heritage, and the removal of the Hard Rock sign and its iconic oversized guitar.

“After nearly three years as Hard Rock, we learned that our guests preferred and identified more with the Isleta brand. As a result, we are in the process of changing our identity and creating a modern Native American-style resort and casino that is friendly and inviting to everyone. It will combine the latest in music and entertainment made popular by the Hard Rock brand with the luxury of a Las Vegas-style casino and the traditions and style of the Isleta pueblo. The new Isleta Resort and Casino will merge together all the best elements to create New Mexico’s foremost Native American gaming casino redesigned for all to enjoy,” said Pam Gallegos, CEO of Isleta Resort and Casino. “Due to the rebranding, we apologize for any inconvenience and encourage guests to enjoy the modernized gaming, traditional and upscale restaurants, exclusive entertainment, and our contemporary resort accommodations.”

Isleta Resort and Casino will host a variety of events to honour its guests and introduce the new brand next month, with the grand opening of the new casino scheduled for Friday, July 12.
