US – Illinois Gaming Board says yes to Novomatic Americas

By - 4 June 2014

The Illinois Gaming Board has approved Novomatic Americas as a duly licensed supplier for both the Riverboat Casino and VGT (Video Gaming Terminals) market sectors.

The granting of these new licenses, awarded on May 29, marks a major forward step for Novomatic’s entry into key US markets and has been warmly welcomed by the Florida-based company that also has strategic office and customer support facilities in Chicago.

Rick Meitzler, Novomatic Americas’ Vice President of Sales for North America, said: “The approval of Novomatic Americas by the Illinois Gaming Board is both very welcome and, following our recently held focus group and product presentation events, particularly timely. It has already been made very clear to us that the Illinois gaming operators are ready and willing to welcome Novomatic and that they are keen to evaluate our product offering for themselves at the earliest possible opportunity.”

Novomatic Americas was established in 2012 as an important strategic step for the Novomatic Group on the American continent with an emphasis on Tribal Government Gaming. It is committed to offer top gaming equipment combined with best customer support and after sales service. Full support of the HQ’s R&D departments guarantees market specific products. The product range includes slot machines for Class III, Class II and VLT / VGT markets, electronic table games as well as management systems and ancillary services.
