US – Live table gaming to launch at Catawba Two Kings Casino this summer

By - 21 March 2024

The Catawba Two Kings Casino is planning to launch 12 live table games in the summer to go alongside the 1,000 slot machines and electronic table games, retail sportsbook and restaurant already in place.

The table games will include craps, roulette, mini baccarat, blackjack, Mississippi stud poker and three-card poker and continues the evolution of the temporary venue to a full casino resort, which will house 3,000 slots, 120 table games while also including a 400 hotel room tower.

Owned by the Catawba Indian Nation and managed by Delaware North, the property launched as a series of mobile units in 2021. Customers have been asking for table games for the last year-and-a-half.

Catawba Nation Chief Brian Harris said: “We’re very excited to be adding live table games to expand our gaming and entertainment offerings at Catawba Two Kings Casino. By adding live table games, we are giving our loyal patrons something many have asked for and also anticipate drawing Charlotte residents and visitors to the region who have not yet been to the casino.”

Two Kings will launch a free dealer school on March 25 in Kings Mountain to train its workforce in the arts of live table gaming. It currently employs 280 people but is looking for an extra 160 to man the tables. Construction on the final resort is expected to take two to three years.
