Germany – Topping-out ceremony for Casino Merkur-Spielothek in Merkur-Allee

By - 1 March 2018

The Gauselmann Group celebrated the completion of the structural work of its new €4m building in Merkur-Allee in Espelkamp, germany, with a topping-out ceremony.

The three-storey office building, which covers a total of 2,500 square meters with 50 offices, will provide the work space for 115 people at the Gauselmann subsidiary Casino Merkur-Spielothek. The building should be ready for occupancy by the autumn.

With the expansion of its administrative location, the family-run Gauselmann Group is taking account of the national, as well as the international growth, which goes hand in hand with the increased number of employees at Casino Merkur-Spielothek at the company’s location in Espelkamp.

Paul Gauselmann, company Founder and CEO, said: “It was important to me to get craftsmen from the region into the building. The Gauselmann Group has earned its money here, and that’s why it should also benefit the people in the region. For years, Casino Merkur-Spielothek has been the market leader in the industry and, due to the difficult legal situation in Germany, is increasingly expanding on the international market. With the new office building, we offer modern workstations that meet the latest requirements.”

Heinrich Vieker, mayor of Espelkamp, added: “The new building will not only be the representative entrance for the Merkur Avenue, but also for the whole city. Espelkamp is a booming industrial city. My thanks go to entrepreneur Paul Gauselmann, who sets an additional exclamation mark here with the new building.”
