US – Interblock names Tom Rafferty as General Counsel

Interblock has named Tom Rafferty the company’s new General Counsel.
He will be based in Interblock’s North American headquarters in Las Vegas.

Mr. Rafferty brings a wealth of gaming law and intellectual property experience to Interblock. Throughout his career, Rafferty has keenly focused on the areas of intellectual property counseling and strategic initiatives to support enterprise growth.
Most recently, he served as Vice President of Intellectual Property at Scientific Games. As Deputy General Counsel, Corporate Assets, Mr. Rafferty managed the team responsible for providing legal counsel in the areas of intellectual property, litigation, immigration, human resources and Scientific Games’ interactive business. Previously he served as Vice President and Chief IP Counsel at Vantiv, a leading provider of payment processing strategies and advanced technology solutions for businesses and financial institutions. Mr. Rafferty is a registered patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Rafferty also has experience as a software developer and was a founder of two technology companies.
