Argentina – City Centre Rosario supports Stay at Home campaign and drives player engagement

By - 5 April 2020

A casino in Argentina is encouraging its players to stay healthy and take part in non casino games in order to continue to engage with its customers on social media. While the country is in lockdown City Centre Rosario, one of the largest casinos in the country, is running a number of games during the quarantine.

Under the motto “We have fun from home and we all win”, the casino is offering different games offered daily through social networks so that everyone can take part from home.

Games include quizzes and board games which customers can play via the casino’s official accounts. Responding to the request of the entertainment centre to continue raising awareness and reinforcing the importance of staying home for collective health care, prominent artists, journalists and poker professionals have sent videos that are being shared on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

The recreational options are joined by information from official organisations regarding care and recommendations against COVID-19.Through different themes, the proposal seeks to generate a dynamic routine of activities that makes the government YoMeQuedoEnCasa (#IStayatHome) campaign more tolerable.

Digital attention channels have also been reinforced through online chat (from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.), advice via WhatsApp and the answering of questions and queries through social networks. Argentina’s President Alberto Fernandez said on Sunday (29 April) that the country would extend a mandatory nationwide quarantine period until the middle of April in an attempt to slow the spread of the coronavirus. The quarantine restricts non-essential workers from leaving their homes apart from to buy groceries or medicines.
