Aristocrat is granting a royalty-bearing licence to its gameplay patents, including its Hold & Spin patent family in Australia
Aristocrat Technologies Australia Pty Limited and Aristocrat Technologies have entered into a Patent Licence Arrangement with Ainsworth Game Technology in Australia.
Under this patent licence arrangement with Ainsworth, Aristocrat is granting a royalty-bearing licence to its gameplay patents, including its Hold & Spin patent family in Australia.
In addition, Aristocrat has granted Ainsworth a royalty-free licence to its responsible gaming patents. These inventions are directed to responsible gaming and safer play, digital wallet and account-based play technologies, configurable player limits, self-exclusion and activity-based tools and player messaging including emerging AI-enabled approaches. This royalty-free licence reflects Aristocrat’s commitment to empowering safer play through technology, and its view that responsible gaming innovations should be made broadly available across the industry.
