At the time of its original Barcelona opening, BETBY had grown to more than 100 employees and identified the city as a key location for its technology ambitions, with a strong focus on research and development, artificial intelligence, machine learning and innovation within sports technology and betting. In two years, the provider has expanded to around 400 employees, underlining the pace of BETBY’s growth and the increasing importance of its international hubs.

Since then, Barcelona has become an increasingly important part of BETBY’s operations, with the expanded office reflecting the growth of the local team and the supplier’s continued commitment to building user-centric sportsbook solutions from one of Europe’s leading innovation hubs. The move creates more space for collaboration and product development, while keeping BETBY close to Barcelona’s international talent pool and active technology community.
