Caesars starts construction of trackside sportsbook at Monmouth Park

Monmouth Park and Caesars Entertainment celebrated the start of construction on a trackside sportsbook and entertainment complex that will raise the bar for sports wagering and race viewing venues in New Jersey.
The state-of-the-art facility and full-service restaurant combo is set to open in 2025, featuring 16,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor sports viewing with wall-to-wall flatscreen televisions, food from nationally known restaurant partner Shake Shack, and more than 25 self-service betting kiosks.
A ceremonial groundbreaking event was held on May 7, featuring representatives from Monmouth Park, Caesars Sportsbook, and local dignitaries who planted golden shovels in the ground to mark the occasion.

In 2018, Monmouth Park made history by accepting the first legal in-person sports wager in New Jersey when it opened a William Hill sportsbook following the overturning of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act. Following Caesars’ acquisition of William Hill, the sportsbook at Monmouth Park rebranded to a Caesars Sportsbook location in early 2022, where it has accepted in-person sports wagers and offered pari-mutuel wagering.
