Cambodia – Century Entertainment to relocate gaming tables to Dara Sakor

Century Entertainment International Holdings, the company that used to be called Amax International Holdings, has said it will relocate gaming tables under its operations from a gaming floor in Sihanoukville to a hotel in Dara Sakor in Koh Kong Province on the Cambodian coastline.

Dara Sakor, Koh Kong Province is one of the most rapidly developing districts in Cambodia and is a well-known tourism destination in Southeast Asia. The new location at Dara Sakor is surrounded by luxury hotel resorts and a golf course.

Century Entertainment International said; “Lion King, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cheung Shing Global Travel Entertainment Limited, has decided to move the operation of the casino from its existing location at Sunshine Bay Hotel to the new location and has signed the Lease LOI with the potential new landlord which the old lease due to end on October 1 2020.”

“After the signing of the Lease LOI, CSG has been offered an even more attractive terms for lease at a second new location situated at Building 89, Long Bay, Say Phuthong Boulevard, Dara Sakor, Koh Kong Province, Cambodia, where Lion King could continue the casino operation. On September 230 020, CSG entered into a casino lease and operation agreement with LongBay Entertainment, the independent landlord of the new location for a term from October 1 2020 to September 30 2035.”

LongBay Entertainment is a company incorporated in Cambodia with limited liability and is principally engaged in property investment and property development.
To the best knowledge, information and belief of the directors after having made all reasonable enquiries, LongBay Entertainment and its ultimate beneficial owner are Independent Third Parties. In addition, a new international airport, which allows sizable flights to land and depart, is under construction at Dara Sako. It is expected that the first phase of Dara Sakor International Airport development project will finish before the end of this year.

The gross floor area of the new location is 10,500 sq.m.. Lion King is currently working on the construction plan and installation of necessary equipments for the Casino at the new location. It is preliminarily planned that 80 slot machines, 40 mass gaming tables and 55 VIP gaming tables would be set up at the Casino together with a Chinese restaurant, spa and night club, subject to the finalised design and layout. The company has been advised by Lion King that the Casino is expected to be re-opened by 31 January 2021.
