Italy – Inspired gears up for lotteries

By - 17 October 2014

Inspired Gaming and AGTech, the Hong Kong-listed, leading integrated gaming company in China’s lottery market, will be co-exhibiting their latest innovations in VLT, Virtual Sports and Mobile omni-channel entertainment at the biennial World Lottery Summit 2014 (November 2 to 5) to be held in Rome.

AGTech and its 100 per cent-owned subsidiary Beijing AGTech GOT Technology will be exhibiting its next generation C8 Sports Lottery Terminals. GOT has won multiple tenders in 2013 and 2014; coverage of GOT’s terminals in China now reaches 28 provinces and regions.

The sports lottery market in China has an installed base of approximately 130,000 terminals. GOT has consistently enjoyed a market share of more than 50 per cent.

Inspired is the leading supplier worldwide of Virtual Sports games for lottery across 40,000 venues and over 200 web and mobile sites in 35 countries. It serves leading lottery operators such as Lottomatica, Sisal and OPAP with its award-winning Virtual Sports. In Italy, Inspired’s Virtual Sports products have driven the development of a €1bn p.a. market in Italy in just one year.

Inspired’s Virtual Sports lottery products are supplied to the National Sports Lottery (NSLAC) in China through AGT, AGTech’s joint venture with Ladbrokes. The Virtual Motor Racing rapid draw lottery game “Lucky Racing” has been live in 1,700 lottery-betting shops in the Hunan Province since 2011 and is the best performing lottery product in Hunan. The Virtual Football game, known locally as “e-Ball”, is now live in 2,500 venues in Jiangsu Province – the largest sports lottery market in China with a 15 per cent market share of national sports lottery spend.

Inspired Virtual Sports lottery games offer a number of benefits to traditional lottery providers. The products are proven to drive an average of $150 of new post prize income [per lottery retail venue per day] and has driven incremental bets of over US$1bn per annum in major government lottery jurisdictions.

It is also a highly flexible proposition; operators can control game race schedules across all of their venues and adjust payout margins to suit local regulation and business objectives. The sports events are rendered on screen in real time; making every event totally unique and exciting for players, with the highly realistic motion graphics and audio commentary providing a fun and high quality lottery experience.

Inspired will also be presenting its new games for its major Video Lottery (VLT) markets, and offering demonstrations of its GSA – G2S compliant VLT technology for private or government lottery operators, including its Core CDW – Centrally Determined Wins – system.

Demonstrating its leadership in omni-channel entertainment and HTML5 mobile games, Inspired will also be showcasing its newest games White Knight and Goddess of the Amazon, which were recently launched simultaneously across retail, online and mobile in the UK.

Gerhard Burda, Acting Chief Product Officer at Inspired Gaming Group, commented: “We are really looking forward to co-exhibiting with AGTech at the World Lottery Summit. As demonstrated by our partnership in China, Inspired’s Virtual Sports, VLT and Mobile propositions are an excellent alternative to traditional numbers and lottery games as it enables operators to generate incremental revenue in a structured, compliant way. Delegates can look forward to trying out our latest innovations in VLT and Virtual Sports, as well as seeing live demos of our new mobile HTML5 games on various tablet and mobile operating systems.”
