Estonia – Olympic hires RAY Casino’s former GM to run flagship casino in Tallinn

Olympic Entertainment Group has appointed Heikki Rinta-Panttila, former GM of Finland’s state-owned Casino Helsinki, as the new General Manager of Olympic Park Casino, the Group’s new flagship casino to be opened in Tallinn in May 2016.

Madis Jääger, CEO of Olympic Entertainment Group, said: “With more than 20 years of international experience in casino operations, he will definitely have the skills and know-how we expect from the General Manager of our flagship Olympic Casino,” Jääger said. “We are working to open simply the best casino in the region and with Heikki on board I’m confident that we can provide successful operations and unprecedented gaming experience for our guests from day one,” he added.

Heikki Rinta-Panttila said that while working close-by in Finland he has followed the success of Olympic Casino in Estonia for many years. “I’m really excited to become a part of this success story and contribute to take the company even further,” Rinta-Panttila said.

The new Olympic Park Casino will be opened in the centre of Estonia’s capital Tallinn together with the Baltic’s first Hilton in May 2016. The casino on 1,600 square metres will have separate areas for slot machines, gaming tables, tournament poker and VIP players. A large bar area and stage at the casino allows for high-quality entertainment program and the OlyBet sports bar with a wide lounge area a comfortable sports betting experience.

Heikki Rinta-Panttila, 55, has an extensive leadership experience in operations management, gaming and casinos, leisure and hospitality businesses, having worked at the Finland’s state-owned RAY as a Development Manager and as a Casino Vice President and Casino General Manager at country’s top casino operations, Casino RAY and Grand Casino Helsinki.
