Germany – Gauselmann Group offers its employees corona tests

By - 27 July 2020

The Gauselmann Group has offered its employees corona tests at its two main locations in Espelkamp and Lübbecke. Participation is very welcome, but ultimately voluntary and free of charge for the employees. The tests are carried out by mobile teams on site in Espelkamp and Lübbecke.

Paul Gauselmann, Founder and CEO of the Gauselmann Group, said: “So far we have weathered the Corona crisis well. In order to keep it that way, special attention is needed especially during the holiday season with the many holiday returnees: In order to identify possible infections of individual employees early on, we offer all employees at the highly staffed locations in Espelkamp and Lübbecke voluntary corona tests, true to that Motto: Better safe than sorry. So we decided unanimously on the board.”

The tests will be offered at two points in time: the next week will start. There will be further testing options after the summer vacation in North Rhine-Westphalia.

Mr. Gauselmann added: “Corona can have a serious impact on the health of every single employee and thus also on the companies in which the sick people are employed. As recent cases show, Corona outbreaks can even result in closings of entire companies. It is therefore important to recognise and interrupt the infection chains as early as possible. We therefore hope that many of our employees will take advantage of the opportunity.”
