Germany – German state of Hesse drops need for casino customers to wear masks

Mask requirements for customers in casinos and amusement arcades in Hesse were dropped on August 15, following new regulations from the Hessian state government.
“Visitors to amusement arcades and casinos – unlike the staff – no longer have to wear a mouth and nose cover. The rules will be standardized with the applicable guidelines for gastronomy.,” the new laws said.
As in the catering industry, staff are still obliged to wear a face mask. The validity of all other regulations were extended until October 31, 2020.
