Germany – Merkur Spielbank in Halle celebrates its third birthday

Three years have passed since the Grand Opening of the Merkur Casino in Halle (Saale) on 23 February 2019. Now the casino in Franckestraße is celebrating its birthday – for a whole week.
“Unfortunately, due to Corona, no major event can take place. In order to be able to celebrate this third birthday with our guests, we have thought of various other promotions and attractive special prizes,” explains casino manager Tobias Hellbach. “This will be a very exciting and eventful birthday week.”
An XXL FIFA tournament will kick off on Wednesday, 23 February, from 8 p.m., in which there will be cash prizes for second and third place and a PlayStation 5 for the tournament winner. From 24 February to 1 March, a birthday jackpot with winnings worth a total of 3,333 euros will be played daily between 8 pm and 24 pm, while on 25 February from 7 pm a special jackpot of 1,000 euros will provide even more excitement and fun. In keeping with the weekend, on Saturday, February 26, from 10 p.m., a DJ will bring an exuberant atmosphere to the casino at the music bingo with the current charts and party hit mixes. Six more plus three extra rounds of bingo with a total chance of winning 450 euros can be enjoyed by the game guests just one day later, on 27 February. The birthday week will be rounded off on Wednesday, 2 March, with another FIFA tournament and the chance to win three times. Throughout the week, the players receive additional chances at the jackpot and can win daily from 10 to 18 o’clock on the wheel of fortune up to 500 euros as well as numerous merchandise items.
In the Merkur Casino in Halle (Saale), more than 80 slot machines with jackpot systems, electronic roulette and blackjack variants as well as the latest machines from Gauselmann ensure a unique gaming experience. The gastronomic offer completes the portfolio. From Sunday to Thursday, the casino is open from 10 a.m. to 3 a.m., on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 a.m. Admission is free and possible from the age of 18 with a valid ID.
On the occasion of its third birthday, the Merkur casinos are giving the city of Halle (Saale) a special gift: The company is taking on another tree sponsorship and thus making a contribution to the preservation of an attractive and liveable cityscape. The godfather tree is to be planted in the immediate vicinity of the Merkur casino.
