Germany – Paul Gauselmann welcomes the new VDAI managing director

By - 10 September 2021

Lars Rogge, the new managing director of the Association of the German Automobile Industry (VDAI), paid his first visit to the Gauselmann Group and was warmly welcomed by company founder Paul Gauselmann.

“I am very happy that with Mr. Rogge we have been able to win a proven industry expert as managing director of the VDAI , who not only comes from the midst of the machine operators, but also represents the third generation of machine operators in his company and also has good experience in the Industry at Bally Wulff,” explained the board spokesman of the Gauselmann Group. Due to the corona, the long-planned visit by the new chairman of the VDAI-Management in the Espelkamp company headquarters will only now take place. “Due to his diverse activities and his many years of experience from all levels of the industry, he has the ideal prerequisites to represent the interests of the companies organized in the VDAI,” explained Paul Gauselmann.

Mr. Rogge was also pleased that the long overdue inaugural visit to the honorary chairman of the VDAI could finally take place. “Mr. Gauselmann has achieved incredible things for the industry and, in addition to his entrepreneurial success, has always understood how to bundle the concerns of the industry, create common ground and effectively represent interests”, he said. Both exchanged vividly about the challenges of the slot machine industry and agreed that the quality of the gaming experience will be the key to ensuring the successful future of the industry.

“Paul Gauselmann has been in charge of the VDAI for 38 years steered with foresight, and I am very happy that he always lets me share his extraordinary experience when necessary,” said Mr. Rogge. The board of the Gauselmann Group – and especially Manfred Stoffers as a close VDAI board colleague – wishes Lars Rogge every success in his new position and is looking forward to an optimal and continued successful cooperation.
