Grupo Orenes unveils Gran Casino Viejo San Juan
Casino is aiming to be a new icon of premium entertainment in the Caribbean
Spanish operator Grupo Orenes has lifted the curtain on its latest casino project; Gran Casino Viejo San Juan, located in the Hotel Rumbao at the entrance to the port of Old San Juan.
The opening day was conceived as a great celebration open to the city, combining tradition, music, culture and entertainment, culminating in the official ribbon-cutting ceremony and a special program designed for institutional guests, representatives of the tourism and business sector, and prominent actors in the country’s social life.
Gregorio Hernández, Director of the Casinos Division of Grupo Orenes, said: “The opening of the Gran Casino Viejo San Juan represents much more than the inauguration of a new entertainment venue. It is a project born with the intention of integrating itself into the city, respecting its history, celebrating its culture, and contributing to the tourism and economic development of Puerto Rico.”
