ICE – Advantech Innocore to launch chipsets, CPUs and displays

Advantech-Innocore will showcase an unrivalled range of products based on the latest advances in chipsets, CPUs and display solution technologies at ICE 2014 in London.
This demonstration includes DPX-E130, the Italian AWP3 market targeted gaming platform, DPX –S435, the Intel Xeon powered gaming board which sets a new standard for performance in a gaming machine, and other solutions to meet the widest range of requirements in gaming.
The DPX-S435 is the latest single board computer in the proven DPX-S series of integrated gaming platforms. Intel’s latest embedded chipset provides an unrivalled range of price and performance choices from dual core Celeron up to Quad Core Xeon and Intel Core i7 CPUs. The DPX-S435 is the highest performance gaming platform available and suitable for the most demanding applications. The integrated graphics core (Intel HD4600) represents a significant step up in chipset graphics performance and the standard PCI-Express x16 graphics card slot allows DPX-S435 to support today’s latest discrete graphics cards for stunning gaming graphics. A full feature set of I/O and COMs designed specifically for gaming devices makes DPX-S435 an ideal integrated platform for many high-end gaming, amusement and kiosk applications.
The DPX-E130 is a complete gaming solution designed specifically for the revised Italian AWP3 regulations. A fully featured AAMS compliant software API and libraries are provided for simple integration of the smart card, fiscal interfaces, security, I/O and COMs to the AAMS servers. The system needs very little power which is drawn from 5V DC through the JAMMA interface with onboard regulation to provide a robust power interface for new and retrofit applications under AWP3 and Comma6a. The system, based on the AMD G-Series embedded chipset, is designed to be low power, high performance with a 5-year life cycle—all at a very competitive price.
The DPX-SC710 is another new gaming platform that will be demonstrated at the tradeshow. This product is a complete integrated gaming platform consisting of an easily serviceable CPU cassette housed in a rugged logic box with a backplane. AMD’s latest embedded chipset provides a choice of high performance dual and quad core APUs with “Discrete-level Graphics”. The chipset graphics (AMD Radeon HD7000 series) can output to 4 independent monitors and supports DisplayPort 1.2. In addition, the MXM graphics card slot allows the DPX-SC710 to be fitted with a selection of discrete high performance graphics modules. The MXM slot ensures the system is future proof and ready for the next generation of graphics technology.
To further meet customer’s development needs, Advantech-Innocore also offers alternative gaming platform solutions such as Mini-ITX motherboards and COM Express® modules featuring Intel 4th generation Core and AMD R-series and G-series architectures. A full line-up of gaming graphic cards and intelligent display solutions provided by Advantech-GPEG will also be showcased as part of the exhibition.
DPX-S435 and DPX-E130 will be available in Q1 2014 while DPX-SC710 will be available in Q2 2014.
