Italy – Inspired launches Virtual Sports with GamenetBy Lewis - 23 May 2014
Inspired Gaming Group (Inspired) has announced another major Italian concessionaire live with its Virtual Sports in Italy, Gamenet. Francesco Mastantuoni, General Director of Gamenet Betting, commented: “Following this partnership Gamenet will be able to provide an even more extensive games library. Inspired’s wide range of premium Virtual Sports are now available in many of our venues and we are working on implementing this product in over 150 Gamenet venues all around Italy. ”
Gamenet is one of the leading Italian concessionaries to the public gaming sector providing VLTs, AWP – distributed in over 650 venues – as well as betting and online gaming products. Gamenet has over 80 shops and 80 corners all around Italy and will provide its players with an extensive Inspired Virtual Sports library including football, horses, trotting, tennis, motor racing, speedway, greyhounds and cycling.
Inspired’s Virtual Sports are already available to Italian players online and in over 7,000 SNAI, Sisal, Lottomatica, Eurobet and Cogetech venues. Inspired’s Virtual Sports team anticipates that over 10,000 venues will be live with Inspired’s product in the next few months with further major operators including Intralot and Microgame.
Based on requisite performance of each party’s products in comparable venues, Inspired’s products generate over 100% more revenue for operators than the leading competing products. Unlike other competitors, the scheduling of Inspired events and the return to player (RTP) levels are wholly operator configurable. With a market share of 97% in Italy already, and the widest virtual games portfolio on the market, Inspired is determined to constantly improve and widen its products. In 2014 Inspired will launch a brand new upgraded version of its world leading Virtual Football product for Italian players, with enhanced graphics and extra bet markets.
Vitaliano Casalone, Presidente of Inspired Italia (pictured), commented: “Our Virtual Sports products were launched in Italy at the end of 2013 and have already proven to be a “winning bet” for Italian operators and an exciting gaming experience to Italian players. We are pleased to go live with another leading operator and are expecting to receive great success with Gamenet.”
