By Phil - 6 April 2021
Japan will allow nine casino games to be offered in its future casinos with the Casino Regulatory Commission listing baccarat, blackjack, poker, roulette, Sic Bo, craps, Casino War, money wheel and pai gow along with electronic games.
Among the games not on the list are traditional Japanese games such as pachinko, pachislot and mahjong.
The draft law also states that the time must be displayed on the casino floor and ATMs will be banned. In terms of advertising, casino comping and loyalty programs, it detailed ‘nothing that could potentially arouse the passion for gambling may be included.’
