Light & Wonder marks Malta office expansion and iGaming growth milestone

Light & Wonder celebrated the expansion and relocation of its Sliema, Malta office on May 26, 2026, reinforcing its long‑term commitment to Malta as a leading global hub for regulated iGaming.
The investment strengthens Light & Wonder’s iGaming operations across EMEA and globally, supporting continued growth in regulated markets through expanded teams, talent acquisition and enhanced operational capabilities.
The office opening also included a ribbon‑cutting ceremony attended by Simon Johnson, Chief Executive Officer of Light & Wonder, iGaming, alongside Ivan Filletti, CEO of GamingMalta, representatives from GamingMalta, the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), and Light & Wonder customers and partner studios.

Malta serves as a scaled operational hub for Light & Wonder’s iGaming business, supporting teams across technology, product, compliance and commercial functions.
