Malta – Golden Race launches La Libertadores virtual football tournament

By - 30 April 2019

Golden Race has launched a ground-breaking cup format for its multi-awarded virtual football product: La Libertadores, which is now available for retail shops and online operators.

“We are delighted to present this ground-breaking product, which realistically represents the most popular club tournament in Latin America,” said Javier Cicciomessere, Golden Race Sales Director for Spain and Latin America.
Added to the company’s already attractive suite of beloved international tournaments –such as the Virtual Euro Champions and Wold Cup–, the new competition features all the teams of the 2019 edition, a group phase of 32 clubs and a knockout phase of 16 clubs, and the most realistic odds based on the real team ranking.

“Our clients will now have the chance to offer this exciting tournament, inspired in a cup that gathered almost 3.5 million passionate spectators in the stadiums last year and it’s being transmitted to 400 million avid football fans in 2019 worldwide, ” added Mr. Cicciomessere.

Twenty betting markets are offered to players, selected from a mix of the most popular ones in the league and cup formats –including 1X2, correct score, qualify and outright markets.

With an effective panel design displaying the most played markets longer on screen, key stats and summaries presented before the matches, the game also provides the possibility of watching four and two matches simultaneously on a split screen (in Quarter and Semi-finals) and quick combo bets that auto-select four types of frequent combination bets.

“At Golden Race, we are constantly studying our clients’ needs and developing up-to-date products to help them increase their revenues,” concluded the executive. “This tournament follows the line of adding great value to our remarkable virtual sports portfolio, while customising it according to most players’ tastes in different regions.”
