Philippines – Bloomberry Resorts confirms May opening for Solaire Resort North

By - 18 March 2024

Bloomberry Resorts will officially unveil its second integrated resort, Solaire Resort North, in late May, in Quezon City, with development costs coming in at US$1bn.

The resort, which will span 1.5 hectares and tower 38 floors high has been described by Bloomberry as an ‘architectural marvel’ and as a ‘beacon of luxury in the heart of Quezon City, the largest city of Metro Manila.’

It will provide ‘a luxurious, serene atmosphere within. From sophisticated rooms and suites, indulgent culinary options, high-end retail boutiques, exciting gaming experiences, to unique entertainment offerings, take pleasure in our unique brand of Filipino hospitality and unparalleled brilliance that’s a first in the north of Metro Manila.’

Bloomberry Resorts Chairman and CEO, Enrique K. Razon Jr., said: “We are excited and proud to share our new property and resort. From a decade ago when we opened Solaire Resort Entertainment City, it has always been our mission to provide a fresh yet indulgent brand of luxury that has not been experienced in the Philippines before.

“With Solaire Resort North, we uphold the same mission in the hope that the property’s presence and operation will support Quezon City’s endeavors to enhance and promote tourism, generate employment for Filipinos, and further attract opportunities for economic and social investments. At the same time, we anticipate that our presence in Quezon City will positively impact our growth, widen our market footprint, and reinforce our brand’s strength.”

Solaire Resort North will offer 526 guest rooms and suites, along with 2,669 electronic gaming machines and 163 tables on four casino levels. It will create 4,200 jobs for Filipinos.

President and COO, Thomas Arasi, said: “Quezon City is a highly urbanized city with a population largely comprised of locals with a wide range of demographic interests. We saw an opportunity to provide more exclusive experiences not just to our existing Northern clientele but to a larger untapped market. We want to bring the signature Solaire experience closer to our valued guests and introduce what and who we are as a brand to a larger audience.”
