Spain – SIS secures long-term Orenes Grupo commitment

Sports Information Services has renewed its agreement with Orenes Grupo to continue delivering its racing content to the Spanish operator’s retail brand Versus.

Juan Jose Lopez, Director of the Betting and Gaming Division at Orenes Grupo, explained: “SIS and its high quality racing offering have been an integral part of our retail operations for several years, consistently proving popular with bettors across our network of betting rooms.

“The team at SIS has been a pleasure to work with and we look forward to collaborating on yet more exciting projects to ensure our customers have access to the very best in horse and greyhound betting content.”

Since 2017, the supplier has been delivering a wide range of horse and greyhound racing events, including UK and Irish horse racing, international horse racing from , Dubai, Germany, Hungary, Latin America, and the US, as well as UK, Irish and Mexican greyhound racing.

Last year, the collaboration was enhanced with SIS providing early morning prices and derivatives for its horse and greyhound racing content. Supplied by SIS Trading Services, the additional products have ncreased betting levels with Versus customers having access to markets such as ‘betting without the favourite’ and additional place markets, as well as markets such as ‘odds vs evens’ and ‘inside vs outside’.

Versus’ retail operations span over 1,000 locations across Spain. Angel Calderon, Head of Sales (LatAm & Iberia) at SIS, said: “We truly value our partnership with Orenes Grupo and its Versus brand, which over the years has seen SIS continue to enhance its 24/7 live betting content offer and bring superior horse and greyhound racing action to its retail customers.
