Switzerland – Grand Casino Baden launches Switzerland’s first online casino

Grand Casino Baden has become the first Swiss casino to launch online, having obtained the final operating license from the Federal Gaming Board (ESBK).
CEODetlef Brose said: “We have been working on the JackPots project for about four years and of course we are very pleased to be able to start today.”
The site, jackpots.ch, offers 50 different games including the virtual pendants of the popular Slot machines. Blackjack can already be played online, and more games will follow quickly.
CFO and Project Manager Marcel Tobler: “We will now continuously expand our range of games and constantly optimise the platform.”
As with the local casinos in Switzerland, jackpots.ch is aiming to offer the world’s highest standard in terms of player protection and responsible gaming. The offer is controlled by the Swiss authorities, the platform and all games offered are certified and accepted by the ESBK.
Grand Casino Baden has been able to bring a high-quality technology partner to Switzerland with the internationally established Gamanza Group AG. Grand Casino Baden is acquiring a 50 per cent stake in Gamanza Group, which has therefore relocated its headquarters to Baden in Switzerland. Since April 2019, the game and platform developer has been certified to ISO 27001, thereby fulfilling the strict Swiss regulatory requirements.
The jackpots.ch platform was developed by Gamanza in close cooperation with Grand Casino Baden.
Mr. Brose added: “The investment in Gamanza AG allows us to directly influence product development and to act flexibly in the market in the future”.
