UK – Access-IS integrates ATOM ID card reader into Novomatic’s myACP

Access-IS, a leading provider of ID card readers, has integrated of its ATOM document reader into Novomatic’s myACP casino management system. In combination with ATOM, the modular myACP system can be adapted to the requirements of every casino operator to ensure compliance with the most important gaming regulations.
The myACP system covers all requirements for access control for casino visitors. It processes the registration of player data in a quick and easy way: issuing membership cards, optional ticket vouchers for access / activities within the casino, member categorisation and meaningful attendance reports. At every customer contact point, simplicity and user-friendliness are paramount, and this is exactly where ATOM convinces with excellent results. The guests simply put their ID on the glass pane of the ATOM, which displays the printed data and read chip information with multiple light sources and transmits it to myACP. Throughout the process, the owner does not have to hand over the document.
The ATOM systems sold by Ineltro in Austria automatically capture photos of identity papers with different light wavelengths and simultaneously extract data via OCR from the machine-readable area (MRZ). The high-resolution colour, infrared and ultraviolet images are checked by the technology for validating electronic identification documents in order to immediately confirm the authenticity of the document. Thanks to the NFC function, the device’s API can access the RFID chips of electronic passports and eID cards to retrieve digital personal data and biometric images and to perform basic security checks on the document. The ATOM Devices are equipped with an innovative expansion dock to accommodate contact card and magnetic stripe readers (MSR) for access to the information on the players’ card.
The modular casino management system myACP can thus be tailored to the requirements of casino operators and the most important international gaming regulations.
