BetVictor and British Racing have announced a partnership which will see the gaming company become an Authorized Betting Partner (ABP).
Under the three-year deal, BetVictor will make a voluntary contribution to racing based on its profits from the sport from UK customers.
BetVictor, one of Europe’s leading online gaming companies, has long enjoyed a close and successful relationship with British horseracing and the partnership will help ensure the long term future of British horseracing. The agreement will benefit the thousands who work in the industry, the racegoer and those who just like to watch and place a bet on the sport.
Andreas Meinrad, CEO of BetVictor, said: “We are proud to announce that we are an Authorized Betting Partner of British horseracing. BetVictor has a rich heritage in the sport, and we want to play our part in ensuring the long term growth, sustainability and success of British horseracing.
“We feel we would be doing our customers a disservice by not getting behind this initiative and believe it will resonate with customers of other companies who choose not to sign up. These are exciting times for both British horseracing and BetVictor and we are looking forward to a close, long and successful partnership.”
Nick Rust, Chief Executive of the British Horseracing Authority, added: “We are delighted that BetVictor has chosen to become an Authorized Betting Partner and that they recognize the benefits of a three-year deal with British Racing. We look forward to working with them to grow their racing business, and to seeing their name on British racecourses.”
