UK – The Empire offering experience of a lifetime

By - 31 July 2013

A Leicester Square casino is opening a competition to win an entire day of free entertainment gaming, where their decisions are subject to crowdsourcing

The Casino at The Empire on Leicester Square is launching the world’s first social casino competition. The competition, opening on Thursday July 25, will invite members of the public to apply for the experience of a lifetime – a day of exciting betting at one of London’s premier casino venues.

The winner will be treated to complimentary entry, beverages, food and betting inside The Casino at The Empire with only one caveat; that all the decisions they make within the doors of The Casino at The Empire, are made by sharing their options live through Twitter.

Peter Turpin, Venue Director of The Casino at The Empire said: “Our global entertainment brand is always looking for exciting ways to experiment with the future of gaming. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will present one lucky individual with an experience like no other. We’re looking forward to seeing what decisions they make and how they’re swayed by the social crowd.”

The winner of The Social Experiment by The Casino at The Empire will have the opportunity to take home any winnings they make plus the guest will not be liable for any losses they incur and will still be eligible for a £300 tab for the Carlsberg VIP Room or Icon Bar. The winner will be able to play a number of games throughout the day including Blackjack, American Roulette and Three Card Poker.

A full commentary on the day will be provided by The Casino at The Empire on the casino Facebook page. Entries are open until midnight on August 4 2013 and multiple entries will only be counted once. The winner will be chauffeur driven to the Casino and briefed by the Casino team on the day ahead of them. A chauffeur driver is only available if the winner lives within the M25. Casino chips on the day will equal to £1,000 total.
