US – Agua Caliente Casinos in California names Lavon Minor as Director of Sales

Agua Caliente Casinos, the tri-property portfolio of resort, casino and entertainment destinations in the Coachella Valley, welcomes a new director of sales. With more than 10 years of experience in the industry, Lavon Minor will lead meetings and event sales for all three properties – flagship property in Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage, its downtown property Agua Caliente Palm Springs and its newest addition Agua Caliente Cathedral City.

In her new role, Minor will lead the sales, banquets and catering teams, develop and drive topline revenue strategies and will oversee sales operations for catering and for groups of all sizes. Her experience in hotel sales and marketing has taken her to big name properties such as Marriott Hotels and Resorts and the Hyatt Regency, where she was responsible for business development, multi-property sales, account management, and more. “Leading this team is going to be amazing! We have some of the best talent in the valley with great tenure and expertise. Together we will rise to perfection in every aspect,” said Minor.

Agua Caliente Casinos’ feature 41,700 square feet of event space across all three properties. At Agua Caliente Rancho Mirage, the conference center is a high-tech, flexible 13,000 square foot space that can be converted into 12 meeting rooms. There are four additional rooms with an attached patio for indoor/outdoor meetings or receptions, an event lawn, a private Wine Room inside The Steakhouse, and a sleek, boardroom-style room inside of Pívat Cigar Lounge. Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage features a separate full-service kitchen dedicated to servicing conference guests.

At Agua Caliente Palm Springs, the Cascade Lounge is the ideal setting not only for dancing, drinks and nightlife in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, but also for receptions and events of any kind. The 6,528 square foot venue features a stage, dance floor, booth and table seating options, a separate bar and exceptional sound and lighting. Attendees can also enjoy the private room in The Steakhouse for an intimate celebration.

The Agave Caliente Terazza at Agua Caliente Cathedral City is a versatile 12,000 square foot indoor and outdoor venue that overlooks the mountainous desert landscape. It plays host to weekly events and live entertainment, and is the ideal location for private parties, business functions and events.
