US – Betting on Sports America – Digital unveils speaker lineup

The Betting on Sports America – Digital conference and exhibition is set to feature a speaker lineup of 130 senior executives and specialists ready to share insights and ideas about the North American sports betting industry.

The agenda for the virtual event on December 1 & 2 covers the industry’s key issues, including regulation, trading, marketing, problem gambling, and investment, and organiser SBC has secured a speaker roster featuring experts on each topic.

The CEOs slated to take part in keynote interviews include Joe Asher from William Hill U.S., Bill Hornbuckle of MGM Resorts, John Levy with theScore, and Derek Stevens of Circa Sports.

The input from CEOs will continue throughout the conference, with BetMGM’s Adam Greenblatt, FOXBet’s Kip Levin, Rush Street Gaming’s Greg Carlin, Triggy’s Martina Akerlund, GAN’s Dermot Smurfit, Oddsium’s Todd Kobrin, FSB Tech’s Dave McDowell, Ball Street Trading’s Scott Emeterio, and David Wang of Bet.Works all participating.

In addition to the selection of CEOs speaking, the roster features a host of experts from different sectors of the sports betting industry.

There is representation from operators, including Jeffrey Gural (Chairman, American Racing and Entertainment), Carolyn Renzin (VP Legal, Regulatory & Compliance, FanDuel), Chrissy Thurmond (Director of Responsible Gaming, DraftKings), Martin Lycka (SVP of US Regulatory Affairs & Responsible Gambling, GVC), Kresimir Spajic (SVP of Online Gaming, Hard Rock International), Art Manteris (VP Sports and Race Operations, Station Casinos), Jennifer Roberts (General Counsel, Wynn Sports Interactive), and Geoff Reiss (General Manager, Yahoo Sports).

Delegates will also hear from regulators including New Jersey Department of Gaming Enforcement Director David Rebuck, Nevada Gaming Commission Board Member Phil Katsaros, and Colorado Department of Revenue’s Matthew Heap, who leads the state’s sports betting efforts.

State lotteries are also well represented. May Scheve (Executive Director, Missouri Lottery), Rebecca Hargrove (President & CEO, Tennessee Lottery), Beth Bresnahan (Executive Director, DC Lottery), Vernon Kirk (Director, Delaware Lottery), and Charles McIntyre (Executive Director, New Hampshire Lottery) are among the expert speakers.

Rounding out the roster are speakers from media companies, affiliates, banks, payments providers, trade associations, suppliers, and industry specialist consultants and advisors.
