US – GAN reports internet gambling growth in New Jersey

Updating the market following the publication by New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) of Internet gambling software, services and online gaming content in the United States, GAN has reported a 64 per cent increase from the prior year monthly period.
Internet Gaming Win was $55.1m in January, compared to $33.6m in the preceding period last year, reflecting a year-over-year increase of 64 per cent.
Elsewhere, Total Internet Sports Wagering Handle was approximately $471.1m for the month of January compared to $488.9m in December 2019, $486.8m in November and $417m in October 2019.
Internet Sports Wagering Gross Revenues after payouts for month of January was $46.7m, compared to $15.5m in January 2019m reflecting a year-over-year increase of 200.4 per cent, comparable to $25.5m for December 2019, $27.8m for November and $38.7m for October.
