US – IGT PlayDigital drives 301 per cent month-over-month increase in handle

IGT PlayDigital, a leader in iGaming and sports betting solutions, kickstarted 2024 with individualized marketing promotions, market expansion of player engagement tools, and new sports betting hardware installations.

IGT PlayDigital drove an impressive 301 per cent month-over-month increase in handle on select IGT games with a leading U.S. operator last month through its proprietary engagement tool. Prize Engine, part of its Engagement Platform suite of marketing tools, has been successfully launched across various regulated jurisdictions in the US, including Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. This tool empowers PlayDigital customers within these jurisdictions to effectively engage and reward their players through personalized multi-level Cash Drops or Prize Drops, enhancing the overall player experience and driving commercial results.

From January 25 to February 4, IGT PlayDigital ran a promotion with participating US customers that delivered more than 160,000 unique active players and 14 per cent overall uplift on promoted games. This promotion, powered by the Engagement Platform, leveraged custom widgets to deliver individualized promotional experiences. This promotion awarded free spins to players across six customers, which led to remarkable engagement results across all participants.

IGT PlayDigital is building on the success of its Treasure Box game series by introducing a third game to the online series, TREASURE BOX CLANS. Its predecessors, TREASURE BOX DYNASTY and TREASURE BOX KINGDOM, are top-performing omni-channel games that have informed the development of this third rendition. The new Treasure Box Clans game takes players on a highland adventure with Celtic-themed artwork, offering similar mechanics to the previous two titles with opportunities to win the grand jackpot, awarding up to 10,000x total bet.

This new game is coming soon to IGT PlayDigital customers in regulated EMEA and US markets.

IGT PlaySports continues to expand its presence in Ohio with the installation of its QuickBetâ„¢ Kiosks at one of the state’s largest grocery store chains in the greater Cincinnati and Dayton areas. Through IGT PlaySports’ partnership with UBetOhio, the Company’s self-service kiosks are now available in over 20 stores, marking a significant milestone as the first major grocery chain to offer sports betting in the United States. Leveraging the unique regulatory landscape of the Ohio market, which permits sports betting kiosks in convenience stores, bars, restaurants, and grocery stores since January 2023, this expansion signifies IGT PlaySports’ commitment to broadening its reach and maximizing new growth opportunities.
