Light & Wonder has enhanced its OpenGaming platform in the U.S. by launching exclusive content from Design Works Gaming with BetMGM.
BetMGM players in New Jersey can now access the online casino content produced by the Arizona-based studio, as part of the OpenGaming entertainment platform.
“DWG has built a deserved reputation for offering fresh, innovative content that resonates with players in North America,” commented Oliver Bartlett, Director of Gaming at BetMGM.
“We are very pleased to be able to put its iGaming offering in front of our players and look forward to further launches as part of our successful OpenGaming partnership.”
Light & Wonder also plans to make DWG’s content available to BetMGM players in additional states in the future.
Steve Mayes, Digital Partnerships Director at Light & Wonder, said: “DWG has a long history of success across North America and that knowledge of what players in the region desire from their casino experience is invaluable.
“Being able to put its content in front of such a large audience provided by BetMGM can only accelerate DWG’s growth and it’s fantastic to be part of a great success story.”
The recent BetMGM launch represents a major landmark for DWG as it further expands its reach across the U.S. through the OpenGaming aggregation platform, which delivers content to operators, lotteries and tribes worldwide.
Troy Zurawski, CEO, Design Works Gaming, added: “It has been a long journey to this point, but it’s a moment of real pride to see our games go live with an operator as prestigious as BetMGM.
“The OpenGaming platform enables us to reach a whole new generation of players and we can’t wait to see how BetMGM players react to our games, starting in New Jersey.”
