By - 12 October 2020

The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has granted Spin Games a Provisional Internet Gaming Supplier License. This license will enable Spin to deploy its proprietary and third-party i-Gaming content built upon the ROC Remote Gaming Server (RGS) platform across Michigan’s licensed casino operator online sites once internet gaming goes live.

Michigan’s three commercial casinos, located in Detroit, generated record-setting revenue in 2019, with annual revenue of $1.454bn, a $10m increase over the
prior year, and local governments and revenue sharing boards received $30.4m in casino gaming revenuesharing payments from Michigan’s 12 Indian tribes during fiscal 2019. MGCB is expected to launch online gaming by late fall.

“We are pleased to receive our Michigan provisional license, which enables us to support its soon-to-open online market with our award-winning content and versatile ROC platform,” commented Kent Young, Spin Games’ Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. “This significant regulatory approval demonstrates the strength of our Company’s products and our commitment to deepen our support of North America’s rapidly growing online market, and we are pleased to have already secured numerous agreements with online operators who are pending licensing. We look forward to being part of Michigan’s expansion into online gaming and appreciate the MGCB’s confidence in our company and our technology.”
