US – Oddin gets licensed for New Jersey

By - 31 January 2022

Oddin.gg announced that the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement has accepted submission of their gaming license application in accordance with the provisions of the Casino Control Act. This will allow Oddin.gg to offer their esports betting solutions to operators in the Garden State.

The Division of Gaming Enforcement is responsible for approving sports book technology and regulating the operation of sports books in the state of New Jersey. The esports betting bill came into effect in June 2021, opening the door for operators and vendors to serve the billion dollar market, and stipulates that any supplier to a betting operator must have a valid vendor’s license.

Vlastimil Venclik, CEO of Oddin.gg, added: “We have reached the first milestone in our U.S. market strategy. We intend to penetrate the market swiftly and expertly, both directly as license holders as well as through the existing network of our partners. Legal esports betting has been growing in the US and we aspire to become a catalyst for exponential growth. With the guidance of Becky Harris, senior advisor to the board and former chairwoman of the Nevada Gaming Control Board, our vision is to become the thought leader for our licensed US partners. There will be more announcements coming soon. Stay tuned.”
