US – Palms Las Vegas to offer players ACS’ PlayOn Table game solution

Automated Cashless Systems is to roll-out its proprietary table game solution, PlayOn, at Palms Las Vegas, allowing customers there to use their own debit card without having to leave a table.
When a player is out of funds and doesn’t want to leave their game, the PlayOn Table game solution allows a customer to buy-in, resulting in player retention and increase revenue potential.
At the gaming position, a customer can swipe their debit card at the PlayOn terminal, request an amount, enter his/her corresponding PIN and, upon approval, a voucher is produced and converted to chips at the table.
Having successfully tested the device in cooperation with Station Casinos in March, PlayOn was installed on two tables at Red Rock Resort and Casino. Already used at Pala Casino Resort, Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California, River Rock Casino in Geyersville, California, and Santa Ana Star Casino in Santa Ana Pueblo, ACS’ patented PlayOn technology has been tested by GLI and complies with regulations for table games in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New Mexico, and other jurisdictions.

He added that the point-of-sale transaction takes debit, but not credit cards so players aren’t playing in debt.
At the core of PlayOn’s unified experience is its strategic processing partnership with Vantiv Entertainment Solutions (VES). A part of Vantiv, Inc., which processes more than 23 billion transactions annually with a volume of $842bn plus, VES is the payments and transactional engine behind PlayOn the product. Additionally, ACS employs a proprietary gateway that allows properties to impose transaction limits in order to meet internal controls and responsible gaming concerns.
PlayOn is the only solution that allows a customer access to their own funds at a gaming position without setting up a new account or getting a new card. They simply use their existing debit card without back-end or out of network transaction fees. The hardware installs easily and is designed to work on all table games.
