US – Sahara to open a poker room after ten-year absence

The recently relaunched Sahara Las Vegas will open a poker room at the end of the month, featuring seven poker tables and a food offering.
The company made the announcement via its Twitter account. The Sahara originally closed its 11-table poker room in 2011. The rest of the casino closed a month later, 59 years after its opening in 1952. The property re-opened in 2014 as the SLS Las Vegas, which stood for “style, luxury, and service.” The Meruelo Group bought SLS Las Vegas in 2018 and brought back the Sahara name in August last year.
