US – Scientific Games unveils Kascada its next generation of gaming cabinets

Scientific Games is launching its new Kascada cabinet, initially in North America, but as the company’s first, truly international cabinet it will be available to gaming operators around the world.
Kascada is the next generation of the TwinStar J43 cabinet. Kascada offers a modernised version of the J43, boasting an ultra-high-definition 4K graphics display on a 43-inch, innovative double curved monitor and features an exciting new lighting package.
Kascada builds upon the gaming cabinet revolution Scientific Games began with the introduction of the ALPHA Pro Wave, the first curved-screen portrait cabinet. That cabinet sent shockwaves through the industry, changed the look of casino floors and transformed the player-experience.

A new, but familiar face to the team is Melissa Price, Senior Vice President of Global Gaming Operations. Price joined Scientific Games from Caesars Entertainment where she spent 13 years overseeing enterprise gaming operations for the corporation’s more than 40 casino-resorts worldwide. Her operator-first perspective will assist in the Kascada global launch.
Adding to this commercial expertise, is the prowess of the studio tasked with developing the first game to be featured on the cabinet. Renowned game-maker Qin You, whose studio is behind the popular themes 88 Fortunes and Dancing Drums, has developed exciting new content for Kascada.
Coin Combo is the next chapter in the story of the internationally successful Duō Fú Duō Cái games series, which began nine years ago with the original 88 Fortunes game that sparked a frenzy of Asian-style video slot games on casino floors across the industry. Building upon her passion for mathematics and history, Qin’s team will unveil Coin Combo with the launch of Kascada.
Launching Kascada with a proven performer is a testament to Scientific Games’ commitment to developing the solutions operators need now. Coin Combo is set to hit casino floors timed to the 2021 Lunar New Year celebration.
