UK – SG and Praesepe extend decade-long deal

Competition is fierce within the Arcade and Bingo sector, and to stay ahead of the curve, leading operator Praesepe is dedicated to evolving the gaming experience offered to players across its expanding UK estate of over 160 venues.
With customer entertainment key to future success, Praesepe extended its significant decade long partnership with Scientific Games for a further five years at the beginning of 2019. Consequently, Praesepe continues to benefit from Scientific Games’ full-service offering, including advanced terminals, innovative games, in-depth reporting and focused account management.
Andy Tipple, Head of Product for Praesepe, said: “Following the extension of this relationship, the roll-out of over 700 new terminals across our Cashino and Beacon Bingo brands is now complete, including close to 600 of Scientific Games’ premium Equinox® terminals. Customer feedback has been extremely positive so far.
“We have been impressed with the constantly expanding suite of entertaining games available, for instance the stream of recent B3 games, including Rainbow Riches Drops of Gold and Lady of Avalon. Our players have also been excited by the introduction of Scientific Games’ new in-game feature, Premium Play, which is available across a range of player favourite slots titles and new releases on Equinox, enhancing gameplay and providing new ways to play.”
The newly installed Equinox terminals provide immersive gameplay through stand-out features, including an interactive 15.6” V-deck+, stunning HD graphics across impressive 27” screens and surround sound. Praesepe staff have been working with Scientific Games’ support teams to ensure the full, rich platform functionality is utilised, including on-terminal promotions, to create a fully tailored experience in venues.
“The level of support we’re receiving is excellent, from staff training to the introduction of Scientific Games’ new online customer portal, CUBE. Thanks to CUBE, we have access to a full suite of tools, with access to game, terminal and analytical support for key areas of our business, which enables us to drive performance and provide the best possible experience for players”, said Tipple.
The next step in this collaboration will see the introduction of Scientific Games’ innovative new game menus. An exciting gaming industry first, these next generation menus combine a modern, intuitive scrolling design with Intelligent Menu functionality, which uses gameplay data to reorganise the games, ensuring popular titles appear in the most prominent position on-screen. Terminals reflect the games that are most played in each venue, offering a personalised experience to Praesepe players, enhancing the customer experience and driving performance by placing venues’ most popular games at a player’s fingertips.
Scientific Games and Praesepe are also working closely together to explore how its venues can implement wider player protection measures. Utilising Scientific Games’ experience in driving responsible gambling initiatives within the LBO sector, Praesepe will look to introduce on-terminal features that help further protect the players, whilst ensuring an enjoyable gaming experience.
